Former Studio is a design practice based in London. Starting off small, since inception, the studio has taken on a diverse range of projects including new-build's, conversions and refurbishments. We love what we do and work closely with clients across all scales, uses and programmes, employing our passion for design, free-thinking and rigour to deliver beautifully crafted projects.

DESIGN APPROACH

 

At its core, architecture involves designing a 'building' to accommodate the required 'program.' The form, scale, material and design derive from the process of defining what these two terms mean for each project we take on. 

 

Regardless of scale, all projects have the same level of attention, research and consideration. We have a genuine passion for design, history and craft, which is why our architecture is always rooted in the traditions of materials and construction techniques.
